PRCA Rodeo Bio
The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) was established in 1936 and is the world's largest rodeo-sanctioning body. It sanctions approximately 700 rodeos each year across the United States and Canada. Competitors take on seven traditional disciplines: bull riding, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, team roping, and barrel racing.
PRCA competitions award points toward season standings, with leading athletes advancing to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas each December. The championship features ten rounds over ten days. The sport's history also includes standout champions such as Trevor Brazile, who has earned 25 world titles.
The Spokane listing identifies a PRCA Rodeo date at the Spokane County Fair & Expo Center, but does not provide a record of earlier appearances at the venue or details about a named tour. Rodeo's familiar format—arena competition, timed events, and crowd-favorite bull riding—offers Spokane audiences a direct look at a long-running American sport.
